Developed and refined over the past 30 years, the LOSSNAY has
perfected the recovery of waste energy. The units reduce overall energy
costs by extracting stale air and then recovering the heating or cooling energy
to either warm or cool incoming fresh air. By utilizing this energy, the LOSSNAY
an save up to 30% on initial capital costs of heating and cooling plant.
To bring in fresh outdoor air, often it needs to be pre-conditioned to
room temperature which means adding to heating or cooling load.

Lossnay,
on the other hand, reduces the difference in both temperature and humidity
between the exhaust air and fresh air by recovering energy from one air
stream to the other through the special treated partition plate. This process
treats the fresh outdoor air to be closer to indoor air condition which reduces
the heating or cooling load and save you money.
Since less energy is required to lower the temperature of dry air compared
to moist air, Lossnay can reduce the load on the air conditioner and save you
money. In addition, it also reduces the need for humidifiers in winter or
dehumidifiers in the summer.

LOSSNAY Vs. HRV
-

Unlike most HRVs which only exchange temperature (sensible energy),
Lossnay Energy recovery ventilators also exchange moisture (latent energy).
-
It also provides more control over moisture levels, which can be an important
consideration depending on the local climate.
-
Where winter climates are extremely dry, Lossnay can recover moisture
that would be exhausted to the outdoors by HRVs.
-
During the air-conditioning season, Lossnay can keep excess humidity and
heat outdoors by extracting it from the incoming fresh air and transferring it to
the stale exhaust air. This makes for more comfortable living conditions and
since dry air requires less energy to cool than humid air, the demands and cost
of your air conditioning and dehumidification systems can also be significantly
reduced.
Since less energy is required to lower the temperature of dry air compared to moist air,
Lossnay can reduce the load on the air conditioner and save you money. Lossnay is the
world's only ERV which is designed to have alternative direction for duct connection.
Outdoor ducts can be installed either parallel or perpendicular to indoor ducts, resulting in
increased installation flexibility which can result in significant installation savings. It can also
be easily implemented in City Multi systems.
