Belimo has set standards in the field of HVAC actuator and valve technology since 1975 with consistent orientation to market requirements and pioneering innovations. Customer wishes are met quickly and flexibly; personal support is ensured worldwide. Each actuator is thoroughly tested before delivery. Specialized know-how and the proverbial Swiss quality make it possible to provide a five-year warranty on the entire product range.
Spring Return Damper Actuators

With the extended range of spring return actuators, Belimo offers the
perfect motorization solution for all dampers.
The option of using the actuators as a terminal connection version
offers increased flexibility allowing up to 4 switching points using an additional switch. In addition to air dampers, the
new 180 in-lb spring return actuators can also be used for valve
applications such as characterized control valves or butterfly valves.
-
Increased torque for more demanding applications: 180 in-lb (AF model) & 90 in-lb (NF model)
-
True mechanical spring return, providing the most reliable fail safe
-
Manual override crank facilities installation
-
Low power consumption provides higher efficiency
-
Minimum torque guaranteed over entire specified operating range

Non-Spring Return Damper Actuators

Belimo actuators are designed for use in a wide variety of HVAC damper applications. With a comprehensive torque range and ability to direct mount or mount to a jackshaft, solutions are available for control dampers, air handlers, economizer units, VAV terminal units, fan coil units, fan shutters and unit ventilators
-
Extensive torque offering (18 in-lb to 360 in-lb) with direct coupled linear or rotary actuators that can handle many applications
-
All non-spring actuators use brush less DC motor technology, which is controlled by an Application Specific Integrated Circuit
-
Minimum torque guaranteed over entire
specified operating range
-
Electronically protected against over-load
-
Low power consumption provides higher efficiency

Fire and Smoke Damper Actuators

Modern fire and smoke protection systems save human lives and help to minimize damage to buildings and equipment. In the event of fire, they prevent toxic gases from spreading through the ventilation system, thereby sealing off the fire zones early. As a result, technical fire protection systems that take into account the increased need for safety, have established themselves in practice.
-
Easy integration into fire and smoke detection systems
-
Protection against low temperature smoke
-
Energy efficient

Control Valves
Electronic Pressure Independent Valve

Pressure independent
valves directly control the water flow required by the coil and are not
affected by pressure fluctuations in the system. The valves are selected
based on the GPM requirements of the coil and no Cv calculations are
needed. By precisely controlling the flow, the Pressure Independent
valves eliminate the need for balancing valves, thus reducing the
installation and balancing cost. By far, the biggest benefit for the
owner comes in the form of energy savings by eliminating overflow through
the coil. Overflow wastes energy by over pumping and is the main cause
of the low Delta T syndrome in chilled water systems.
-
Constant flow regardless of pressure variations in the system.
-
Maximizes chiller ΔP, preventing energizing additional chillers due to low ΔT.
-
Simplified valve sizing and selection, no Cv calculations required.

Characterized Control Valve

The characterized control valve (CCV) marks a true advancement in control valves. It combines the high close-off capabilities of a ball valve with a specialized disc that ensures a true equal percentage flow characteristic. Since its release in 1999, over 2 million CCV's have been sold in hydronic systems. The CCV offers a comprehensive Cv range for various applications such as air handlers, heating and cooling coils, fan coil units, unit ventilators and VAV re-heat coils.
-
Equal percentage flow
characteristic
-
Excellent control stability assured
with the characterizing disc
-
Cv values equal to Cv values of
globe valves the same size
-
The need for multiple pipe
reduction is usually eliminated
-
Better control prevents "hunting"
of the control loop, increasing
life span of actuator and valve.
Globe Valves

The comprehensive line of globe valves is available in up to 6" and fulfills the requirements of ANSI 125 and ANSI 250 applications. Utilizing either bronze or stainless steel trim and fitted with either spring or
non-spring return actuators, globe valves are the perfect fit for such applications as unit ventilation and air handling units as well as other water/steam control in heating and cooling systems.
-
Self adjusting stroke of actuator utilizes full control signal for maximum resolution
-
visual sliding stroke indicators speed installation and system check
-
assembly can be mounted with valve stem horizontal to the pipe
-
self locking valve coupling to ensure proper valve-actuator connection
-
Pressure compensated flanged globe valves utilize a balanced plug design perfect for high close off requirements
